Siiiigh.

Life is challenging. Dad's liquid $$ has run out. I'm now working with some attorneys that are going to help me file the paperwork to get him on Medi-cal and transfer his assets to me as a part of a life contract. I have been chasing his various insurance policies and bank accounts to portray an accurate picutre of his finances and hopefully be able to keep some of those assets. I'm meeting with a realtor on Tuesday to show his place. That means that I'll have to deal with his stuff. Just thinking about that is distressing. There are only a few things that I really want to keep. The rest I want to find a good home for, or sell for a reasonable price. It all comes down to work. If this works out, I'll have a chunk of cash to invest into my place and my debt. Thinking about what I would like to do with some money is almost as exciting as the process is burdensome. I am definitely looking forward to having business taken care of, medi-cal paying the bills and the care center off of my back. Speaking of which, I should give them a call.

ciao!
