So the iPhone has autocorrect for using the virtual keyboard on the screen. In general, it works pretty well. Occasionally some acronyms get "corrected" when they shouldn't be, but if you're paying attention, you can override the corrections and it learns, so that's ok.

I got a text message from a friend and I intended to reply: "Hey there sweetie, how are you?" After hitting send, I see "Hey there sweaty, how are you?"

Ummm. NOT what I meant! jeez.
