Duane's little web log

Saw the strangest thing on the way to the gym this morning. (First time in months) I came across an intersection with solid red lights, and blinking yellow ones on at the same time. I couldn't decide what to do! I eventually stopped and proceeded carefully. Has anyone else seen this? What are you supposed to do in that case? Also, I've been struggling with what kind of RAID to set up on my home system. Buy a packaged system, or build one from scratch with Linux at the core. Does anyone have suggestions?

Just Finished putting up Jane and Austin's wedding pictures. I used a package called XSqueezeMe, which is pretty good at resizing groups of pictures, and generating HTML for the pages. Check it out under Pictures. Phew, bedtime now. :^)

I've been mulling over starting a blog for a while. Everything something strnage happens, I think "I ought to write that down!" So here goes! It's the first I've updated my web site since July of 2001 right before I moved back from the UK. Goodness knows, a lot has happened since then. More than could be summarized here. Well anyway, it's a place to start. :^)
