Duane's little web log

I have recently re-discovered that I am deathly afraid of disappointing people. It's one of the few things on this earth that really freaks me out and makes me uncomfortable. More than bugs and rodents and spiders and snakes. Even more than blood and guts and needles. Actually none of those things really bother me. More than chewing on tin foil, Dylan's bike cleats on pavement, and imagining getting cut with sharp objects. On the bright side, I think I'm still more afraid of being on a high unprotected ledge. That's good. ANYWAY. I think my parents must have weilded the "I'm disappointed in you" statement like a 60 pound sledgehammer. It freaks me out that much. Ok, enough said. I need to start thinking about positive things now. :^)

Blast from the past! I was googling myself (you should try it, it's fun) and I came up with a picture of my dad on his highschool varsity football team. Check out his picture from the track team. It's a wonder he ever got his helmet on. :^)
