It's amazing how hard it is to ask someone out. I chickened on the face to face, but I left a note with my number. Baby steps, dude baby steps. Wish me luck!

woo hoo! I'm hella stoked! I had a great workout this morning. Who needs coffee?

Here's a quote from Sidrah who is at a Conference in St Louis. It sounds like the're more than a little fundy.

Subject: so I have to write to keep from being brain washed.

:)
It's not that bad, but there was this great band (7th day slumber) they played well etc, and then started giving their testimonials. One of the guys, who is 20, never kissed a girl, and is waiting until he's married. TO KISS. i don't understand.
there are cool things, and wack as hell things. I don't think I've heard a single person swear. I swear to myself every once in a while, it's comforting. ;)
alrighty,
have good weeks. more if it starts to get to me.
:)

I did it! For the first time, I went to the cardio kickboxing class that I've been working up to. I didn't have any trouble keeping up, but I looked like a total fool. I don't really have the moves down, and when they go in combination, I really get lost. It was fun though. :^) I guess eventually I'll start getting it.

Grrrrr.. I spent 5 hours yesterday getting tires on my car. I'll never darken Sears Auto Center's Doorway again. It is nice to have new sticky tires on the car tho. :^)

Well, it's the day after. I guess I'm feeling a little better about things. Last night I decided that the reason it's hard is that the group is so small. Basically everyone is now a friend. It's hard to see friends lose their jobs. One of my co-workers added a very curt addendum to his goodbye email: "Although I value you both personally and socially, please understand that my income and employment has been terminated, and I will not participate in any related knowledge transfer as related to my past position." That pretty much hits the nail on the head with regards to how he's feeling.

Well, I guess that the good news is that I'm not one of the ones to go. It's hard to see your friends lose their jobs though. It's not exactly a morale booster. One of the guys laid off worked at the company about three less days than I did. The whole thing is just stinking ugly.

sigh... today is layoff day. It's early yet, no one (except the managers) know who will get the axe. I hate this.

So wow. I've got my new projector set up and it's SWEET! The home theater is back in action again! Now it's time for video games and movies!
