OMFG

Yesterday was a bad day to be a raccoon.

On highway 13 on my way to the far east bay, I saw three dead raccoons. I saw another one on 580/80 in Emeryville in the evening. Joni said that the 23rd of Jan is the most depressing day of the year. Most people realize around the 23rd that they haven't accomplished their new years resolutions. Maybe the same applies to raccoons. Maybe they just weren't achieving their garbage can toppling goals and decided to end it all. Maybe it was national raccoon freeway dodge challenge day. Who knows?

So far so good... Been good about the "resolutions" so far. I've been stepping up the workout program in preparation for the cruise - you know, so I will look good in my bikini - and it's been going well. I took a spin class this afternoon that was awesome. I'd forgotten the feel of an endorphin rush. The meal plan is going extremely well. In 7 calendar days I've lost 10 pounds. Love it. Anyhoo.... gotta go get some stuff done.
