DAMN the sun is bright, and strong.
I spent all of about 30 minutes in the sun today and got a decent burn. Damn that Scottish skin of mine.

Last night was the first formal dinner. What an incredible collection of penguin suits and LBDs. Despite my incredible skills of subtlety I'm sure I was caught gawking at least a couple of times. Later on in the night, we hung out in the piano bar with at least 150 other Gen X's singing at the top of our lungs to some of the worst hits ever. The piano player drew the line at Barry Manilow. (wuss) I hear from all sources that the comedy show was awesome. I was too busy finding interesting people to talk to at the disco.

Today was the first real day of sunshine (interspersed with rain showers) The other suits came out today and were equally enjoyable. We landed in San Juan, and took a brief walk. About halfway in, it started pouring. I guess I don't need to get THAT shirt washed or pressed. Between Damian, Greg and me, Kristin was the only one that needed to dry her hair after getting back.

More later!
Tomorrow, Sorkeling in St Maarten.

What a day! The ship is great. We've pretty much had food and drink in hand since we got on the ship. It's been a blast! Today is officially pick on Damian day. The ship has been rocking a bit, but otherwise, smoooooooth sailing. :^)

Benvenito a miami.

It's time to leave for the cruise. Hopefully I can update this blog on the ship. I'm psyched. I'm planning on coming back 10-15 pounds heavier from all of the eating and drinking.

Today has been the best day I've had in a long long time. There was a lot of happiness twinged with a bit of sadness.

I started the day by trading in my 1993 Acura Legend and buying a 2004 Mini Cooper S. I was a little sad to let the Acura go, but the mini is so much fun to drive that it totally makes up for it!

After work, I went with Dylan, Dawn, Dylan's brother, Sterling and Angel to a lovely dinner, and the KT Tunstall show at Slim's. She was awesome. The only drag was having to stand in one place from 8:30 to 11:30.

Anyway, I'm exhausted. I'm skipping the gym in favor of two more hours of sleep.

nite nite.
